Manufactured in a toughened IP23 S class nylon casing the Fusion PHF Range
is designed to endure all the rigors demanded of portable welding equipment
both on site and in the workshop. The PHF offers all the features required for
multi process DC TIG & MMA (stick) welding applications.
The single-phase 230V or 110V TIG model options offer the ultimate choice in
portable DC welding inverters. Software driven the digital power source provides
for programmable control of all TIG welding output parameters. Simplistic to
set-up, the PHF allows for individual adjustment of pre & post flow gas
times, HF or Lift Arc Start selection, start and final crater current amps,
high & low pulse current adjustment, pulse frequency time, slope in &
slope out times. Torch 2T & 4T switching options and full remote current
control is a standard feature in the multi choice menu as is the Spot Welding
timer that allows precision adjustment for repetitive spot and tack welding.
MMA welding with all Types of Electrodes including cellulosic up to 5.0mm in
diameter is made easy with the MSD auto sensing arc force control that also
provides for automatic hot-start electrode ignition. When activated a specially
developed short circuit detection device switches the power converter off so
electrode stick down is virtually eliminated.
Safety First. To fully comply with global safety standards the unit is fitted
with an automatic dead man sensor, which means that if the TIG arc is accidentally
broken or if the arc fails to start and establish after 3 seconds the machine
will automatically shut down. |
